Bioprocessing Summit 2024, Henry Zhao of Bristol Myers Squibb introduces the HaLCon Protein Analyzer and its integration into clinical manufacturing workflows for real time titer measurement. Designed for speed and ease of use, the HALCON system uses a protein A affinity column for accurate, in-process titer analysis of therapeutic proteins. The system was evaluated across four different molecules, showing strong correlation with UPLC reference methods in terms of precision and bias. HaLCon proved to significantly reduce turnaround time while requiring minimal operator training—making it a practical solution for modern bioprocess environments.
